Nowtopia (2024)

Nowtopia is a book written by Chris Carlsson, published in 2008. It is a book that looks at the role and influence of work on today’s societies. In Nowtopia, saving the planet is inseparable from “taking initiatives outside of wage-labour and business to make the world we want to live in now.”

The sketches are manifesto for a new country that expresses my idea of nowtopia and represent the idea of a sustainable chimera – a hybrid living being that has the capabilities and skills to survive the near to mid future.
